How many numbers can be formed?

METHOD:

1. Draw a table
2. Write the digit of tens
3. Then, write the digit of ones
 Number begins with 6 64 61

 Number begins with 4 46 41

 Number begins with 1 14 16
So, there are 6 numbers altogether that can be formed by using card 4, 6 and 1.

Problem 2

Ali has 45 marbles.

Ali's marbles are 5 more than Kumar's mables.

How many Kumar's marbles?

Kumar's marbles are less 5 than Ali's marbles.

So, students need to count from 45 in descending order.

It is found out that Kumar's marbles are 40.
