Chapter 6: Space
What you need to learn in this chapter
In this chapter, you will be learning about space in mathematics. You will start by studying regular polygons, which are shapes with equal sides and angles. You will learn about their characteristics such as sides, corners, symmetrical axes, angles, and diagonals. Next, you will learn how to measure angles in regular polygons with up to eight sides.
After that, you will move on to perimeter and area. You will learn how to find the perimeter of two combined regular polygons, including right-angled triangles, equilateral triangles, and squares. You will also learn how to find the area of two combined shapes involving squares, rectangles, equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles, and right-angled triangles.
Lastly, you will learn about the volume of solids. You will learn how to find the volume of two combined shapes involving cubes and cuboids.
