Renewable & Non - Renewable Energy Sources

7.2 Renewable & Non - Renewable Energy Sources

  • Renewable energy sources are energy sources that can be generated continuously, such as:
  1. The Sun is a constant source of energy.
  2. Waves exist naturally.
  3. Water is always available in the environment.
  4. The wind is unlimited and everywhere.
  5. Biomass is always available because it comes from natural substances.
  • Non-renewable energy sources are limited and cannot be regenerated, such as:
  1. Fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas and petroleum will run out one day
  2. Nuclear substances such as uranium are limited
  3. The battery will run out one day.
