Example of Length Question

Ramu has a pencil. The length of the pencil is the same as the eraser.

Mary has a pen. The pen is shorter than the pencil.

How likely is it that the number of erasers is equal to the length of the pen?

The length of the pencil is the same as the eraser. Whereas, the length of the pen is shorter than the length of the pencil.

This means the number of erasers equal to the length of the pen is less than 4, which is 3 and a half erasers.

Example of Mass Question

Both Mariam and Sharul lifted a box.

Who lifts the heavier box?

From the picture, we can see that Mariam can lift the box without using as much effort as Sharul.

It means the box Mariam picked up was lighter. So, we can say that Sharul lifted a heavier box.

So the correct answer is Sharul.

Example of Volume of Liquid Question

Samsul bought a bottle of orange juice. He poured all the orange juice into several cups. He drank two cups and gave three more cups to his friend.

How many cups can be filled with a bottle of orange juice?

Samsul poured all the orange juice into several cups. There were two cups he drank and there were three cups given to his friend.

So, two cups plus three cups are equal to five cups.
