
Chapter 3 : Reading Skills
What will you learn in this chapter

They will work on improving their reading skills by understanding specific details in different text types related to familiar topics and using word attack skills to decode meanings. The chapter also emphasizes the development of basic dictionary skills and the ability to identify and distinguish letters in the alphabet, as well as blending phonemes to recognize words.
Students will explore various topics such as animals, colours, days of the week, family members, greetings, months of the year, nature, numbers, occupations, body parts, and more. They will gain a deeper understanding of vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, shapes, and tenses, including simple past and present tenses, through reading comprehension exercises.
