Hello, Zarra! How are you? I hope that you are in the pink of health. Today, I am going to tell you about the Batik Festival that I had attended last week.
The Batik Festival returned to Kuala Lumpur for its third year to showcase a variety of batik products. Themed 'Batik and Classic', the three-day festival, featuring a total of 20 vendors at the Malaysian Tourism Centre (Matic) was open to the public for free.
The festival served as a platform for the public to develop a deeper appreciation of the value of Malaysian batik. The younger generation, with greater exposure to the art of batik, will cultivate greater interest.
A few booths had special promotions and sold traditional female and male batik outfits at a good discount price. Some booths sold a wide range of handmade batik accessories of different designs and colours.
I think that's all for now. I need to help my mum now. Goodbye!
