Definition of digestion 

Digestion is a process of food break down into smaller pieces to be absorbed into the blood vessel dan transported to the other part of the body.

 
 

Flow of food

 
  • The digestion tract in humans started from the mouth to the oesophagus, stomach, intestine and ended at the anus. 
 
 
  • The flow of food:-

Mouth → Oesophagus → Stomach → Intestine → Anus

 

Actions that disrupt digestion

 
  • Example of action that disrupts digestion:-
1.   Eating too fast 
     
2.   Eating while talking
     
3.   Eating while running and jumping
 
  • Doing an activity that can disrupt digestion can lead to choking, vomiting and stomachache
