Characteristic features of a square:

there are 4 sides
all sides are the same length
there are 4 corners

Characteristic features of a rectangle:

there are 4 sides
the two opposite sides are the same
there are 4 corners

Characteristics features of an equilateral triangle:

there are 3 sides
3 sides of equal length
there are 3 corners

Characteristics features of an isosceles triangle:

there are 3 sides
2 sides of equal length
there are 3 corners

Characteristics features of a circle:

one flat surface
one side is curved
has no corners
